My name is Amy and it is nice to meet you!  I have been licensed as a massage therapist since 2009 and am certified in many modalities, but my favorite population to work with is expecting women, mothers, and women trying to conceive   Over the years of working with thousands of clients, I found my passion for pregnant women and prenatal massage.  I am a mom of twin girls, and throughout my pregnancy, I had no idea that prenatal massage existed as it seemed that pregnant women had very few resources available  I was miserable, uncomfortable, and generally stressed out.  It wasn't until I became certified in prenatal massage, dug into continuous research, continued to take class after class, and started working with women throughout their pregnancies that I completely fell in love with my career all over again. 

 

I have two teenage daughters who are the highlight of my life, named Madison and Marissa.  They are turning 17 soon, and my world is a whirlwind of hormones and attitude, backed with love and cuddles in this very confusing world as a teenager.  We LOVE animals and have two cats and two ferrets who are super loveable and loyal. We love to travel and live each day to the fullest, stopping to smell the roses with every opportunity we have. 

 

I started a prenatal practice to offer massage to the women who need it the most, us mamas!  I do my very best to be able to provide the best service possible and alleviate your pain, de-stress your body and support you throughout your pregnancy and beyond!  There are many qualified, wonderful therapists in our area, but I assure you that you will get an entirely different experience here at DeKalb Prenatal Massage that you did not know existed in our area, and will leave you talking about us for months.
